Ismael Azzopardi is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and filmmaker who for the past 20 years has been active in renown local bands, music productions, video productions, sound design, and their application in compositions, contemporary dance, advertisement, live music performances and music videos. He collaborates with other producers, musicians, choreographers and visual artists, also leading his own film projects featured on multimedia platforms.

Ismael has performed in major international festivals such as NXNE in Toronto, Canada and iconic venues such as The Roundhouse, The Bedford and The Water Rats. Ismael played a significant role in popular bands like Chasing Pandora who received various awards such as Malta Music Awards and Bay Music awards. Their music has also been played on BBC Radio 2, including being featured on Janice Long’s programme Late Night Show.

As a composer / producer he co-wrote and co-produced the original soundtrack for the adaptation of La Divina Commedia by Dante Alighieri performed by Naupaca Dance Factory in the Mediterranean Conference Centre. Utilising his dynamic spectrum of a different array of arts, Ismael also shot / produced music videos for local artists including his own video projects.
