Ritmu Roots Festival - Styles and Playing Techniques on Traditional Guitar

A hands-on guitar workshop aimed at intermediate to advanced level players. This workshop will focus on styles and techniques within the għana guitar tradition, providing participants with valuable insights into the chords, melodies and techniques for both left and right hands. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn traditional melodic passages and gain a deeper understanding of playing the guitar in the traditional Maltese style. This workshop is highly recommended for those seeking a more immersive and practical experience in għana guitar playing.

Each participant is asked to bring their own steel string guitar for the workshop.
